How much of Bank Mandiri's credit allocation is designated for State Budget funds?

The government has chosen to place state funds in several commercial banks, one of which is Bank Mandiri. This is a form of support for the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Bank Mandiri plans to use the government funds to provide credit to various segments, ranging from micro groups to corporations. The disbursement of a total of Rp 21 trillion will also be completed within three months.

The largest allocation is given to the micro segment (Micro Business Loans and People's Business Credit) with an amount of up to Rp 6 trillion. This disbursement plan focuses on the agricultural, plantation, trade, tourism, and other sectors that influence food security. A similar amount is also allocated to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) focusing on several sectors, such as construction, health, agriculture, and tourism.

The credit provided by Bank Mandiri serves to increase and expand access to financing for productive businesses (real sector). It also aims to stimulate economic growth, absorb labor, improve food security, and support the national logistics system.
