February 2023, Average Wage for Information and Communication Workers in West Kalimantan: Rp. 2.46 Million

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the average net monthly wage of formal information and communication workers in West Kalimantan in February 2023 decreased by Rp. 36,728 to Rp. 2.46 million compared to December 2022. Meanwhile, compared to December 2021, the average wage for information and communication workers increased, as it was previously recorded at Rp. 2.38 million.

The average net monthly wage of formal information and communication workers over the past five years experienced its highest growth in 2021 at 12.93% and its lowest in 2020, with a decrease of 7.59%.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the salary/wage received by workers in this sector in West Kalimantan province amounted to Rp. 2.46 million. Compared to other provinces, the average salary/wage in the information and communication sector in this province ranks 22nd nationally.
