The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reports that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Jembrana Regency reached 2.52% in 2023. This figure is a decrease of 1.42% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 3.94%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 1.59%.
Over the past five years, the open unemployment rate (OUR) has shown an upward trend. However, the Covid-19 pandemic, which began in March 2020, caused the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Jembrana Regency to decline.
Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 415th nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.3%.
The reduction in the open unemployment rate (OUR) this year can be seen from the condition of the number of the workforce and the number of employed people.
