The increase in the OUR is related to the data on the number of the workforce in this region. The number of the workforce in Halmahera Selatan Regency has increased over the past three years. Regarding the number of employed people, the number of workers in Halmahera Selatan Regency has shown an upward trend over the past 14 years. In 2021, there were 110,420 workers, increasing to 137,830 workers in 2023.
The increase in the OUR in Halmahera Selatan Regency is not directly related to the economic growth in this region, which also continued to increase in 2023.
