According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) records, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Sigi Regency in December 2023 decreased by 0.42% to 2.6% compared to December 2022. Meanwhile, compared to December 2021, the open unemployment rate (OUR) increased, as it was previously recorded at 2.38%.
Since 2010, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Sigi Regency has shown a downward trend in terms of numbers. A similar condition occurred four years after the Covid-19 pandemic since 2020, causing the open unemployment rate (OUR) to decrease in Sigi Regency.
