Today's Food Prices (11/3) in Banten: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Several food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk palm cooking oil, shallots, Honan garlic, large red chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as beef rump, red bird's eye chili, wheat flour, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp1,562 (4.06%) to Rp40,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices fell the steepest by Rp625 (0.66%) to Rp94,792 per kg.
