Daily Prices of Garlic in Traditional Markets Across Bali Province Increased by 8.51% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in Bali Province is recorded at Rp38,250. This price is unchanged from the previous day, and has remained consistent over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets has increased from Rp35,250.

Over the past three months, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in Bali has increased by 6.25% from the previous price of Rp36,000.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in the province was in May 2021, with an increase of 117.39%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2021, at -54.5%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bali show ten commodities decreased and 16 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Super II Rice, Medium I Rice, Rice, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Fresh Chicken Meat, Inferior I Rice, Chicken Eggs, and Chicken Meat.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to price changes over the past month in Bali Province:

1. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp20,950 per kg (up 6.89%)
2. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp18,300 per kg (up 1.1%)
3. Cooking Oil per Kg: Rp21,300 per kg (up 4.67%)
4. Green Chili per Kg: Rp41,150 per kg (up 10.32%)
5. Super II Rice per Kg: Rp15,550 per kg (down 1.58%)
6. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg: Rp21,600 per kg (up 2.61%)
7. Chili per Kg: Rp48,800 per kg (up 9.66%)
8. Medium I Rice per Kg: Rp15,650 per kg (down 1.57%)
9. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp47,400 per kg (up 24.08%)
10. Shallot per Kg: Rp58,700 per kg (up 24.5%)
11. Rice per Kg: Rp15,500 per kg (down 0.64%)
12. Large Red Chili per Kg: Rp43,850 per kg (up 81.2%)
13. Quality 2 Beef per Kg: Rp184,150 per kg (unchanged)
