Central Java Food Prices Today: Cooking Oil Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (9/26/2025) at 02:28 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, red onion, premium rice, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, Minyakita, curly red chili, consumption sugar, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged cooking oil saw the highest increase of Rp138 (0.7%) to Rp19,725 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the most by Rp1,476 (3.18%) to Rp45,012 per kg.
