Today's Food Prices in Banten: Beef, Oil, and Egg Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (August 6, 2025) at 11:07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include frozen buffalo meat (imported), premium rice, medium rice, large red chili, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as whole garlic, broiler chicken meat, Minyakita, packaged wheat flour, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported) recorded the highest increase of Rp3,000 (2.68%) to Rp115,000 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level saw the sharpest decrease of Rp675 (8.65%) to Rp7,125 per kg.
