Today's Food Prices March 03 in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili and Cooking Oil Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Central Java were observed to rise today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with price increases include large red chilies, broiler chicken meat, curly red chilies, broiler chicken eggs, and loose granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, only shallots decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red bird's eye chili prices rose the most by Rp2,486 (3.25%) to Rp78,928 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices fell the sharpest by Rp62 (0.15%) to Rp40,038 per kg.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp78,928 per kg (up 3.25%)

4. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,617 per kg (up 0.08%)
5. Large Red Chili: Rp35,225 per kg (up 0.36%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp33,452 per kg (up 1.14%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp32,506 per kg (up 0.3%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,721 per kg (up 0.02%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,747 per liter (up 0.07%)
10. Loose Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,879 per liter (unchanged)
