Indonesia's Latest Food Prices: Egg Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Monday, March 25, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (25/3/2024) at 09.27 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 16 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), pure beef, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, milkfish, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp570 (7.17%) to Rp8,520 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp1,080 (3.23%) to Rp32,380 per kg.

9. Milkfish: Rp32,380 per kg (down 3.23%)
