Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Sugar and Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice (SPHP), broiler chicken, chicken eggs, Indian mackerel, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), shallots, granulated sugar, medium rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,640 (13.67%) to Rp13,640 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp2,240 (6.37%) to Rp32,940 per kg.
