Food Prices Today in Central Java: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (7/11/2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include milkfish, broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, consumption salt, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn for farmers, mackerel, packaged wheat flour, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili saw the highest increase of Rp3,098 (6.28%) to Rp52,417 per kg. Skipjack tuna prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,824 (5.71%) to Rp30,107 per kg.
