Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Cooking Oil Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (18/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil prices surged the highest by Rp590 (3.61%) to Rp16,920 per liter. Iodized fine salt prices decreased the most sharply by Rp490 (4.15%) to Rp11,310 per kg.
