Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Wednesday, April 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (17/4/2024) at 17.30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are shallots, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp570 (2.03%) to Rp28,690 per kg. Red cayenne pepper prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp5,600 (9.62%) to Rp52,600 per kg.
