West Java Food Prices, Week of April 13th: What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 17.17 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, large red chilies, broiler chicken meat, table salt, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase, up Rp524 (1.42%) to Rp37,321 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the steepest price drop, down Rp2,012 (2.2%) to Rp89,261 per kg.
