Today's Food Prices in Banten on February 19: Prices of Onions and Red Chilies Rise

Several food commodity prices in Banten were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 19, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 4 decreased.

The commodities that saw price increases are large red chilies, premium rice, red bird's eye chilies, shallots, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken eggs, medium rice, beef hindquarters, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest jump of Rp1,458 (3.09%) to Rp48,583 per kg. Meanwhile, beef hindquarters prices dropped the most by Rp625 (0.45%) to Rp137,500 per kg.
