Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (15/8/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, shallots, farmer-level corn, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, SPHP rice, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,750 (4.7%) to Rp38,970 per kg. Mackerel experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp3,310 (10.16%) to Rp29,270 per kg.

7. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,480 per kg (up 0.92%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,320 per kg (down 1.87%)
9. Milkfish: Rp27,070 per kg (up 0.3%)
10. Shallots: Rp22,050 per kg (up 2.46%)
