Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Tuesday (October 22nd): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (22/10/2024) at 16.11 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp250 (1.02%) to Rp24,690 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) experienced the largest price decrease, falling by Rp470 (3.98%) to Rp11,350 per kg.
