West Java Food Price List Today: Salt and Chili Prices Drop (Wednesday, March 20, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (20/3/2024) at 13.08 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, dry soybean seeds (import), shallots, broiler chicken meat, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,400 (3.83%) to Rp38,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most by Rp2,530 (4.22%) to Rp57,450 per kg.
