Food Prices in Lampung Region Monday (8/9): Red Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (8/9/2025) at 13.55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include dried soybean seeds (imported), broiler chicken eggs, Minyakita cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, red onion, broiler chicken meat, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodities saw the highest increase of Rp3,002 (6.99%) to Rp45,935 per kg. Red onion prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp676 (1.82%) to Rp36,457 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 23 food commodities in Lampung according to Bapanas on September 8, 2025 at 13.55 WIB.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,303 per kg (down 0.24%)
7. Mackerel: Rp32,429 per kg (up 0.63%)
8. Garlic Bulb: Rp32,386 per kg (up 1.02%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,913 per kg (down 0.29%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,529 per kg (up 0.43%)
11. Milkfish: Rp27,150 per kg (up 1.27%)
