Daily Red Chili Prices in Modern Markets of West Java Province Increased by 52.5% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in West Java Province is recorded at Rp108,350 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of red chilies in modern markets has increased from Rp71,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in West Java over the past three months has increased by 24.04% from the previous price of Rp87,350 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 106.67%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -45.79%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java show one commodity decreased and 19 others increased. The commodity with a price decrease is Fresh Broiler Chicken.
