Jambi Region Food Prices Thursday (25/7): Chili and Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (25/7/2024) at 12:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, chicken eggs, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, chicken meat, skipjack tuna, milkfish, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,150 (1.77%) to Rp65,940 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the most sharply by Rp860 (2.27%) to Rp37,020 per kg.
