Bali Food Prices Monday (December 23rd): Oil, Egg, and Sugar Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, red chilies, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, up by Rp7,530 (17.29%) to Rp51,090 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the largest price drop, down by Rp1,880 (10.57%) to Rp15,900 per liter.
