Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in Sinjai Regency are the mainstay sectors, contributing the largest share to the 2023 GRDP with a value of Rp6.78 trillion. This represents a 5.22% growth compared to the previous year's Rp6.18 trillion.
Second is the construction sector, which grew by 6.65% to Rp1.91 trillion, followed by the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector in third place with a GRDP of Rp1.91 trillion (6.86% growth).
Rounding out the top five contributing sectors is government administration, defense, and mandatory social security with a GRDP of Rp689.17 billion. This sector grew by 3.82% compared to the previous year's Rp654.54 billion.
