April Inflation Rate for Clothing and Footwear in Bandar Lampung City: 0.36%

In April, the price of footwear components contributing to inflation in Bandar Lampung City reached 0.36%. This figure remained stable for the past two months. Among the 10 inflation groups measured in this area, the clothing and footwear group contributed 0.41% to the regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for clothing and footwear in Bandar Lampung City was at 110.22 in April 2024, higher than the previous month's 109.83.

Compared to the same month last year, clothing and footwear inflation fell by 2.03% (year on year/yoy). Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Bandar Lampung City have grown by 1.87% (year to date/ytd).

This sub-group inflation experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing sub-groups.

BPS recorded April 2024 inflation at 0.3% monthly and -7.27% annually. Although lower than the previous month's inflation, this monthly inflation rate is not as high as the same period last year, which was recorded at 4.33%.
