Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Thursday, February 22, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (22/2/2024) at 11:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, broiler chicken, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, by Rp2,700 (4.14%) to Rp67,920 per kg. The price of broiler chicken decreased the least, by Rp500 (1.47%) to Rp33,520 per kg.
