Lampung Food Prices on Monday (July 22nd): Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (22/7/2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red chilies, granulated sugar, milkfish, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybeans (import), pure beef, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,370 (2.7%) to Rp52,150 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices fell the most sharply by Rp430 (1.48%) to Rp28,720 per kg.
