Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Beef, Cooking Oil, and Chicken Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (28/10/2024) at 13:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, mackerel, granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, curly red chilies, medium rice, milkfish, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp620 (2.29%) to Rp27,750 per kg. Red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,330 (3.34%) to Rp38,440 per kg.
