Food Prices Saturday (18/10) Jambi Region: Red Chili and Egg Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (18/10/2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, curly red chili, large red chili, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, red onion, medium rice, red cayenne pepper, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna surged the highest by Rp1,243 (3.75%) to Rp34,364 per kg. The price of red cayenne pepper dropped the sharpest by Rp852 (2.0%) to Rp41,852 per kg.
