Today''s Food Prices in West Java: Onions Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (23/9/2025) at 12:48 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, packaged cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), large red chilies, and red onions.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, SPHP rice, mackerel, premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red onion prices rose the highest by Rp1,237 (3.4%) to Rp37,660 per kg. Bulk cooking oil prices fell the sharpest by Rp202 (1.1%) to Rp18,136 per liter.
