Today's Food Prices in Aceh March 06: Egg, Chicken Meat and Red Chili Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Aceh today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 6, 2026) at 14:45 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are shallots, bulk palm cooking oil, large red chilies, broiler chicken meat, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as medium rice, red bird's eye chilies, curly red chilies, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp3,750 (12.43%) to Rp33,917 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp4,667 (10.09%) to Rp41,583 per kg.

4. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,645 per kg (up 0.06%)
5. Shallots: Rp35,068 per kg (up 0.13%)
6. Large Red Chili: Rp33,917 per kg (up 12.43%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp28,040 per kg (down 1.34%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp27,986 per kg (up 0.13%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,920 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp19,027 per kg (unchanged)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,209 per liter (up 0.05%)
