Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (14/10/2024) at 09.46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, SPHP rice, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, garlic bulbs, chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,020 (8.46%) to Rp13,070 per kg. Red onion prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp2,430 (10.38%) to Rp20,980 per kg.
