Jambi Region Food Prices Monday (November 4th): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (4/11/2024) at 11:44 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, medium rice, broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,890 (6.93%) to Rp29,180 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the steepest price drop of Rp2,430 (5.61%) to Rp40,890 per kg.
