Today's Food Prices in East Java: Chicken Prices Up, Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (3/8/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), premium rice, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,090 (10.24%), reaching Rp11,730 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp590 (11.71%), reaching Rp4,450 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,580 per kg (up 0.83%)
10. Red Onion: Rp19,650 per kg (down 2.53%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp16,690 per kg (up 0.79%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,360 per liter (down 0.97%)
