Latest Food Prices in Lampung: Red Chili Price Rises, Cayenne Pepper Price Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (28/9/2025) at 10:57 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are dry soybean seeds (imported), broiler chicken meat, consumption salt, Minyakita cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, red cayenne pepper, broiler eggs, bulk wheat flour, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity experienced the highest increase of Rp1,462 (2.84%) to Rp53,000 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel price saw the deepest drop of Rp1,853 (5.58%) to Rp31,364 per kg.

8. Mackerel: Rp31,364 per kg (down 5.58%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,636 per kg (down 4.15%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (down 0.06%)
