Jambi Region Food Prices Thursday (8/8): Chili Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (8/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, garlic bulbs, shallots, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,360 (3.35%) to Rp41,930 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most sharply by Rp1,660 (5.29%) to Rp29,730 per kg.
