Daily Prices of Grade 1 Beef at Traditional Markets, December 2023-2024

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in Papua Province is recorded at Rp141,900. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets has not changed from the previously recorded Rp141,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in Papua over the last three months has decreased by 0.56%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in Papua Province was traded at Rp142,700.

The record high for the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2020 with an increase of 27.27%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in March 2020 with a decrease of -22.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Papua show four commodities decreased and 12 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Curly Red Chilies, Rice, Grade I Low-Quality Rice, and Grade II Low-Quality Rice.

5. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp80,750 per kg (up 13.33%)
6. Chili per kg: Rp95,000 per kg (up 19.5%)
7. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp61,250 per kg (down 3.92%)
8. Green Chili per kg: Rp95,000 per kg (up 19.5%)
9. Rice per kg: Rp16,500 per kg (down 1.49%)
10. Fresh Layer Eggs per kg: Rp34,500 per kg (unchanged)
11. Medium-Sized Red Onion per kg: Rp61,250 per kg (up 30.32%)
12. Grade I Low-Quality Rice per kg: Rp15,950 per kg (down 0.62%)
13. Grade II Low-Quality Rice per kg: Rp15,450 per kg (down 0.64%)
