Bali Region Food Prices Wednesday (24/4): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (24/4/2024) at 16.53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp2,270 (5.25%) to Rp45,530 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the least, by Rp2,670 (6.55%) to Rp38,090 per kg.
