Current Food Prices in East Java Region: Rice, Chicken Meat, and Salt Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (10/31/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include medium rice, milkfish, packaged cooking oil, shallots, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), packaged wheat flour, Minyakita, red bird's eye chili, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity saw the highest jump of Rp1,351 (3.43%) to Rp40,753 per kg. The price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) experienced the sharpest drop of Rp120,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
