Latest Food Prices in East Java Region: Beef Up, Red Chili Down

Today's prices for a number of food ingredients in East Java were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (19/10/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include garlic bulbs, packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as mackerel tuna, premium rice, curly red chili, scad fish, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef commodity saw the highest increase of Rp1,714 (1.43%) to Rp121,244 per kg. Meanwhile, scad fish prices experienced the deepest decline of Rp578 (1.63%) to Rp34,842 per kg.
