West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down (Wednesday, February 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (14/2/2024) at 11:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, shallots, garlic bulbs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, curly red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp180 (0.62%) to Rp29,080 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,930 (5.06%) to Rp36,230 per kg.
