Today's Food Prices in Banten February 13: Onions Rise, Red Chili Peppers Fall

Some food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 13, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are curly red chili peppers, shallots, bird's eye red chili peppers, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as large red chili peppers, beef rump, and bulk granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest jump of Rp1,000 (2.31%) to Rp44,333 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili peppers experienced the sharpest drop of Rp667 (1.55%) to Rp42,333 per kg.

5. Large Red Chili Peppers: Rp42,333 per kg (down 1.55%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,000 per kg (up 2.04%)
