Current Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (4/5/2024) at 14.33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel fish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (1.0%) to Rp29,280 per kg. Bulk wheat flour saw the lowest price decrease of Rp80 (0.89%) to Rp8,920 per kg.
