Food Prices in East Java Today, What is the Price of Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (9/11/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, large red chilies, premium rice, and red bird's eye chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, consumption sugar, broiler chicken eggs, shallots, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean seeds (imported) saw the highest jump of Rp94 (0.96%) to Rp9,869 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) dropped most sharply by Rp120,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
