Today's Food Prices in Indonesia March 10: Red Chili Up, Eggs Down

Several food commodity prices in Indonesia today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 12 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, medium rice, bottled premium palm cooking oil, bulk palm cooking oil, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as wheat flour, chicken eggs, Minyakita, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili prices jumped the most by Rp3,533 (9.2%) to Rp41,927 per kg. Chicken egg prices decreased the most by Rp42 (0.14%) to Rp30,870 per kg.

5. Shallots: Rp39,854 per kg (down 0.1%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp37,759 per kg (up 0.77%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,349 per kg (up 0.2%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,870 per kg (down 0.14%)
9. Bottled Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,149 per liter (up 0.08%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,321 per liter (up 0.33%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,900 per kg (up 0.06%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,885 per liter (down 0.04%)
