Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Rawit Chili Price Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food items in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (September 30, 2025) at 02:28 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include medium rice, SPHP rice, red bird's eye chili, bulk cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybean seeds (imported), large red chili, garlic bulb, milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The red bird's eye chili commodity soared the highest by Rp384 (1.13%) to Rp34,298 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili fell the sharpest by Rp1,724 (3.37%) to Rp49,398 per kg.
