Latest Food Prices in Banten: Onion, Egg, and Beef Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (September 2, 2025) at 12:07 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption salt, red onions, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as mackerel, premium rice, milkfish, SPHP rice, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest surge, increasing by Rp2,429 (6.65%) to Rp38,929 per kg. Milkfish prices experienced the sharpest decline, dropping by Rp2,814 (8.1%) to Rp31,923 per kg.
