Today's Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Chicken Meat, Eggs, and Salt Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (4/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, medium-grain rice, pure beef, Indian mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, red chili peppers, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp1,230 (3.38%) to Rp37,620 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp1,620 (15.17%) to Rp9,060 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp35,620 per kg (down 3.44%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,620 per kg (down 0.92%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,670 per kg (down 9.43%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,500 per kg (down 0.58%)
10. Shallots: Rp26,950 per kg (up 2.78%)
