Latest Food Prices in Bengkulu Region: Chicken Price Up, Rice Price Down (Friday, December 29, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (29/12/2023) at 12:47 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, granulated sugar, pure beef, broiler chicken, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, medium rice, and shallots have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,250 (13.25%) to Rp36,330 per kg. Skipjack tuna had the lowest price decrease of Rp330 (1.45%) to Rp22,420 per kg.
